Colleen
Lohide brings to Soaring Eagles Enterprises, a vibrant and enthusiastic
passion style as an
instructor. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Marine Biology
from West Virginia University to then pursue and exciting career in the
United States Air Force separating at the rank of Captain to embark on
another great chapter. After leaving the Air Force, Colleen pursued
additional training and education in psychology and clinical skills
devoting her time as an Alcohol Awareness Counselor and currently is a
talented and insightful instructor for TAM (Techniques of Alcohol
Awareness) Nevada.
Colleen
moved to Las Vegas over 7 years ago and has focused her talents and
efforts on developing an extensive management and education program within
the Security Industry receiving the Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
designation in 2009. She has worked for such corporations as Hard Rock
Hotel and Casino, Allied Barton Security Services and Securitas Security
Services, Inc. Colleen is a member of the American Society of
Industrial Security (ASIS), International Foundation for Protection
Officers, and the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers
Association.
Colleen
was originally born in West Virginia; however spent her childhood years in
Kenya, Africa. She has
traveled the world living in such great countries as Germany and has lived
in many of the states including such eminent locations as California,
Florida, Washington D.C., Virginia, Kansas, Oklahoma, and many more. She
currently refers to Las Vegas as home. Colleen is the proud mom of
one son, Brandon and
step-mother to 3 adorable cats Meowsie, CC, and Pitchku. Outside her
commitments, Colleen is
very involved at the local athletic club and spending time enjoying the
vast array of activities available in the community.
