This course addresses security concerns and enterprise risk management at both the organizational and individual levels in an interactive and upbeat classroom environment.   Enterprise risk management is the primary focus with an emphasis on the importance of the security function as a strategic business partner in the organization.  This series provides participants with an overview of the security management function, and the skills and competencies necessary to be a successful professional practitioner.

Security basics concepts and principals, interviewing skills, report writing, legal aspects and liability, workplace violence, patrol techniques, physical security systems, basic leadership and supervision, emergency planning and homeland security, public relations and customer service.
