Business Math and Finance Overview is built for the non-finance professional to develop some basic skills and competencies related to budgeting, return on investment and common financial statements.  Starting with common mathematical and statistical functions, participants grow knowledge on where numbers and ratios are derived.  Beyond the basic elements, the program explores the content and meaning of a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement

 

Running a lean business requires the discipline associated with understanding the return on investment and Business Math and Finance Overview participants will be able to calculate simple return formulas for a variety of business investments.  The program will also highlight using financial information in decision making.
