The sometimes slippery path of documenting performance, behavior, promotions, or discipline is the focus of Team Member Documentation. This program will provide the core skills to document all types of team member events and issues in a correct and defensible manner.

Beginning with learning about the importance and legal nature of documentation, Team Member Documentation will insure that your organization does not cross any compliance-based lines. Participants will also discover correct methods and systems for documentation and avoiding common pitfalls. Over-documentation, novel writing, under-documentation, and editorializing will all be covered.

Team Member Documentation is an important set of skills and competencies for any organization.

1. Understand the importance of team member documentation as legal documents.

2. Write team member documentation at appropriate volumes without over-writing or under-writing.

3. Learn to identify only documentable behaviors and avoid editorial comments and opinions.

6. Create personal action plans and strategies to implement the skills and competencies learned.
